We collect the minimum needed to sell you an eSIM and deliver it. You sign in with your email to buy, and we do not sell data to anyone.

What we collect

  • Your email address. Required — it is where the QR code is sent and how you recover your order.
  • Your phone number. Optional. Used only if we need to reach you about an order.
  • Order details. Which plan, which destination, the amount, and the identifiers of the eSIM issued to you (ICCID and activation details).
  • Technical data. IP address and request timing, kept transiently to rate-limit abuse of our API. When you start a checkout we also record the IP address, the approximate country and the browser it came from, with the order, so that we can tell genuine customers from fraud and investigate a disputed payment.

What we never see

  • Your payment details. Payment happens inside Cashfree Payments's own window. Card numbers, CVVs and payment PINs never reach our servers.
  • Your browsing, messages or location. We resell network capacity; we do not operate the network and have no visibility of what you do on it.
  • Identity documents. No KYC is required to buy a data-only travel eSIM from us.

Why we hold it

To issue and deliver your eSIM, to let you retrieve your order later, to support you if something goes wrong, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. We do not sell or rent your data. Only if you accept marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel measures our Facebook and Instagram ads (see Cookies and analytics below).

Who else processes it

  • Cashfree Payments — payment processing. They receive your email and the amount, and handle payment details directly.
  • Our eSIM supplier — receives the order needed to issue a profile. They do not receive your email address.
  • Our email provider — receives your address and the message containing your QR code.

These providers may process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on their contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Order and eSIM records: 8 years, as required for tax records in India.
  • Rate-limiting data: minutes, in memory only.
  • Support emails: 2 years from the last message.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Erasure has one limit worth stating plainly: we must retain order and invoice records for the tax period above. We can delete everything else, including your email address, once an order is complete.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages and destinations people look at, so we can improve the site. It sets cookies (_ga and _ga_…) holding a random identifier — not your name, email, or order. Google processes this data on our behalf and may do so outside India. We do not use it for advertising. It is not loaded on order, account or admin pages, whose addresses can identify you or your order.

We also use Google Firebase Performance Monitoring to measure how quickly pages load and how long our servers take to answer. It records timings together with the page address (without anything after a “?”), your browser, device type and approximate country, under a random installation identifier kept in your browser — not your name, email, or order. It is not used for advertising either.

We also keep our own anonymous visit counts. When a page, a destination or checkout opens, the site tells our server, which adds one to that day's total for that step and device type (phone, tablet or computer). This sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. Your IP address and browser are used only for a moment, mixed with a value that changes every day so that each visitor is counted once a day, and are never saved. The totals cannot identify anyone.

Only if you accept marketing cookies, we also use the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and to show them to people likely to find them useful. It sets cookies (_fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from one of our ads) and tells Meta the pages you view here, the plan you pick, and when you start checkout or complete a purchase, with the plan’s price. It is not sent your name, email or eSIM, and is never loaded on order, account or admin pages. Meta may process this data outside India. You can withdraw your consent at any time from Cookie settings at the foot of every page.

To opt out, install Google's opt-out add-on or block cookies for this site; buying and installing an eSIM works either way. Our payment gateway sets its own cookies inside its payment window, governed by their policy.

Every cookie and item of browser storage the site uses is listed in our Cookie Policy.

Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Order pages require the secret link from your email or the email address on the order — knowing an order reference alone is not enough to view an eSIM.

If you believe your data has been exposed, contact [email protected]. We will investigate and notify affected users and the Data Protection Board where the law requires it.
