Most phones from 2019 onward do — iPhone XS and newer, Pixel 3 and newer, and recent Samsung Galaxy S and Z models. Your phone also needs to be network-unlocked. Dial *#06# — if you see an EID number, you're set.
No. The eSIM installs as a second line alongside your physical SIM. Your own number stays active for calls, SMS and OTPs — just keep its mobile data switched off so you don't get roaming charges.
No. Your phone holds the eSIM and your home SIM side by side. Keep the home SIM in and switched on: it is how calls, SMS and bank OTPs reach you while the eSIM carries your data.
On an iPhone: Settings › Mobile Service › Mobile Data, choose the travel line, then turn Data Roaming on for it. On Android: Settings › Network & internet › SIMs, set the travel eSIM for mobile data and turn Roaming on. Leave calls and SMS on your home SIM.
No. Enter an email address at checkout and the eSIM is sent there. You can look an order up later with its reference, or sign in with that same address to see everything you have bought — but an account is never required.
No. A data-only travel eSIM needs no KYC, no passport scan and no address proof. You give an email address and nothing else.
Within a few minutes of payment, by email, as a QR code plus manual activation details. Nothing is posted and no delivery address is needed.
On screen as soon as payment clears, and by email within minutes. It is also on your order page, which you can open any time with your order reference.
On first connection at your destination, not at purchase. That's why we recommend installing it at home over Wi-Fi a day or two before you travel — it sits dormant until you land.
These are data-only plans, so there's no local number for regular calls or SMS. Calls over WhatsApp, FaceTime, Telegram and Google Meet all work normally on the data.
Yes, and you should. Install over Wi-Fi at home while you still have a connection you trust. The plan does not begin until the eSIM first connects to a network at your destination.
Switch the eSIM line on, make it your mobile data line and turn Data Roaming on for it. Give it a minute or two to find the local network. If nothing connects, turn Airplane Mode on and off once, or restart the phone — that starts a fresh connection.
Yes. WhatsApp stays linked to your home number and keeps working over the eSIM's data — chats, calls and video calls. You do not change your number, so there is nothing to re-verify.
Yes, on the eSIM line. It connects to a local network by roaming, so without Data Roaming it gets no data. Keep Data Roaming switched off on your home SIM, so that line never uses data abroad.
On your own number, as usual. Keep your home SIM switched on with international roaming activated, and SMS OTPs arrive on it while the eSIM handles your data. Many banks also let you approve payments inside their app, which works over the eSIM's data.
Yes. Hotspot and tethering work on every plan. Connected devices share your plan's data, so a laptop syncing in the background can use it up quickly.
You get 5G where the plan, the local network and your phone all support it, and 4G/LTE everywhere else. Each destination page names the networks its plans use.
No. It is data only, so there is no local number for regular calls or SMS. Calls over WhatsApp, FaceTime and similar apps work on the data, and your home number stays yours for everything else.
If you buy a regional or global plan, yes — the coverage list on the plan page names every country it works in. A single-country plan only works in that country.
Yes, as long as the eSIM hasn't been installed: cancel within 30 days and we refund it, less a small payment-processing charge (see the refund policy). If we couldn't issue your eSIM, you're refunded in full. Once a profile is downloaded to a phone it can't be reused, so we can't refund it after that.
Not for data, as long as Data Roaming is off on it. Calls and SMS on your home number are billed by your own operator at its roaming rates. Receiving SMS is free on many plans, but check your operator's roaming terms before you fly.
The connection stops rather than billing you for more. Where the plan supports a top-up you can add data to the same eSIM — we do that by hand and send you a payment link, and it never means reinstalling anything. Where it does not, buy a fresh plan; your phone holds several eSIMs at once.
Yes, though not yet by yourself. Enter your eSIM's ICCID on the top-up page and we add the data by hand — you get a payment link back the same business day. Topping up never means reinstalling the eSIM.
Yes. Every price on the site already includes 18% GST, so the amount you see is the amount you are charged. Nothing is added at checkout.
Yes. A GST tax invoice is raised the moment payment succeeds and is linked from your order page. It carries our GSTIN, the invoice serial number and the tax split, which is what your accounts team will ask for.
Prices are shown in your local currency where we can work out where you are, and the exact amount that will be charged is stated at checkout before you pay. Settlement is in Indian rupees.
Every order page also shows the manual details — SM-DP+ address and activation code — which you can type in directly. If it still won't install, write to us and we'll re-issue it.
Three things, in order: turn data roaming ON for the eSIM line (it is roaming by definition), set the eSIM as the mobile data line, and reselect the network manually in settings. That resolves nearly every case.
Usually not. A profile can only be installed once, so deleting it consumes it. Write to us with your order reference and we will tell you whether the supplier can reissue that specific profile.
Check spam and promotions first. The eSIM is also on your order page whether or not the email reached you — look it up by reference. If neither works, contact us and we will resend it.
Write to us.
Email us with your order reference and a real person replies within one business day.
